Follow Up to Mother’s Day

Dear Church Family,
Isn’t God good! All the time, He is good! Yesterday was a really special day as we celebrated Mother’s Day – one of my favorite days of the year!
Let’s lift each other up this week – that we will remember to receive God’s love daily, even multiple times during the day. Let His love rain down on you.
Also, let’s remember to reflect His love to others. The most powerful thing in all the world is how God has changed our hearts by putting His love there inside of us. It is there, not to keep to ourselves, but to let it out by sharing it with those around us.
What kind of love has God given us? What kind of love does He want us to reflect to others? It’s hard to beat the description of it in 1 Corinthians 13. Let’s review verses 4-7 together …
“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”
Love each of you,
Bro. Tim
