July’s Letter from the Pastor

Dear Church Friends and Family:

Does it seem that summer is flying by?  As a church family we have been busy.  With the Vacation Bible School last week, Pre-teen Camp this week, fellowship meal and business meeting next week, Clothes Closet on July 19th, the Youth Camp on July 14-18, and a workday on July 26th it seems that we hardly have time for Sunday services.

But we will have them and I am looking forward to seeing each of you there.  Hebrews 10:24-25 expresses to us the importance of coming to church and worshipping with other Christians.  We are to stir up love and good works and encourage one another in our daily walk with God.

That is what I like about Sunday mornings.  When I see fellow Christians meeting and greeting one another and enjoying each other’s company, I know that the Spirit of the Lord is in the house.  So I encourage you to be in the services and bring a friend.  We’ll treat them so many different ways that they are bound to like one of them.

Praying Always,

Brother Doug
