January 2010 Letter from the Pastor

Dear Church Friends and Family:

Happy New Year! Isn’t a New Year exciting? Its coming brings fresh starts, new goals, and better outlooks. We can stop placing guilt on ourselves because of those past resolutions that we failed to accomplish and made different ones. It is very much like when Jesus wipes away our sins and makes us whole again. We have these plans to serve Him and show our friends how much He means to us. But somehow during the days and years following our acceptance of the Savior, we begin to take the road of least resistance. Many times this has led us to not even mention our relationship with the Lord and many of our friends do not even know that we are Christians. So with this I believe God is challenging us speak more about what Christ means to us and show that in our every days lives. Smile more, laugh more, help more, pray more, give more of ourselves to God and watch how important He will become to us. Remember that we are told in Isaiah 55:11 God’s Word “…shall not return to Me void.” If we life Jesus up to the world then He will draw all peoples to Himself! (John 12:32)

Praying Always,

Brother Doug
