August’s Letter from the Pastor

Dear Church Family and Friends:

Can you believe it? August is here again and now our minds are beginning to switch gears and think of summer being over and school starting. It seems like just yesterday that this past school year ended. But with the new school comes the excitement and anticipation of a new start. We begin by thinking that this year is going to be different. The kids will be ready on time and grades will be better. The adults feel that they will be better organized and less rushed to make the events that thier children are engaged in. And et, when the year begins and the first time something doesn’t go as planned we get frustrated and say, “Here it goes again!”

This is the same with our relationship with God. We start each day with the excitement and joy of a fresh begenning. But when we stumble and falter we think to ourselves it is happened again. Remember that we do have a fresh start each ay and we must make our commitments daily. The sign this week reads “Cultivate good Habits, bad ones grow wild.” It mean that we must work to get good habits but the bad ones come easily. So may God bless you and keep you as you overcome the bad with the good in yor daily walk with the Lord

Praying for you always,

Bro. Doug
