September’s Letter from the Pastor

Dear Church Family and Friends:

School is officially in operation.  Where has the time gone?  We are busy with Nominating committee assignments (now complete!) and we need to get the new children’s committee together.  We have pressing issues with Sunday school and Wednesday night activities.

Many of our members are sick or traveling for one reason or another.  It just seems that we are not able to do everything that we want to or need to do.

I think that what we really need to do is to praise God for all the activities that we have and the troubles that they seem to bring.  You see, while we feel overwhelmed with these problems, it signals that we are growing.

Last Sunday we had 70 in Sunday school.  Our Wednesday night activities are touching almost as many people with our praise service, adult discipleship, youth, and prayer meetings.  The Sunday morning worship service was heavily attended the past two Sundays along with the Sunday night Bible study.

All of this signifies life in the congregation at IMBC and we praise God for it and all His blessings.  I pray you have a great September and that God continues to bless you daily.

Praying for you always,

Brother Doug
